๐ง Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage the regional technical budget, including expansion of network infrastructure and upgrades to support future growth.
- Monitor and maintain core technical infrastructure including National/International Transmission, BNGs, CDNs.
- Handle and resolve escalated technical support issues promptly and effectively.
- Ensure optimal performance and standard compliance of Optical Distribution Networks (ODNs).
- Coordinate technical communication across regional branches regarding new products, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor key support metrics: MTTR, 12/24/48 hrs field response, field visit ratio, and preventive maintenance visits.
- Build, follow, and optimize technical processes and ensure they are data-driven and standardized.
- Train regional technical staff regularly to improve capabilities and ensure SOPs, network diagrams, and documentation are well maintained.
๐ Eligibility & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BE in Electronics, Engineering, or Computer Science) with minimum 5 years experience in technical networking or support.
- Candidates with an MBA are highly preferred.
- Hands-on knowledge with platforms like Juniper, Cisco, Huawei, Nokia, MikroTik, Meraki, Smartoptics, Raisecom, Extreme.
- Strong command of IP Routing, Switching, MPLS, Cybersecurity, VPN, and fiber-optic technologies.
- Familiar with protocols such as Ethernet, PPPoE, DHCP, TCP/IP, GRE, ICMP, QoS.
- Proficient in troubleshooting tools: OTDR, VFL, Power Meter, Splicing Machines.
- Knowledge of customer support workflows to enhance customer experience and satisfaction.
- Must be willing to travel across regions and take ownership of assigned areas.
๐ Preferred Certifications:
- JNCIS / JNCIP / JNCIE
- CCNA / CCNP / CCIE
- Any other equivalent high-level networking certifications
