🏢 About Our Sansar
Our Sansar is a registered charity working to transform the lives of disadvantaged children in Nepal. We provide education, shelter, child protection, and welfare support to children affected by poverty, abuse, child labour, and neglect, primarily across Madhesh Pradesh.
We are looking for a dedicated Project Assistant to join our team and help run life-changing programs for vulnerable children in Nepal.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Support the Operations and Monitoring Coordinator with day-to-day project activities
- Perform administrative and clerical tasks, including maintaining financial and project records
- Help prepare letters, reports, and documentation for government authorities and funders
- Assist with monitoring, evaluation, and reporting processes
- Travel between project sites: Birgunj, Janakpur, and Rautahat
- Facilitate effective communication between field staff and central coordination
- Help with resource acquisition, donor reporting, and social media content collation
- Support new project launches, income generation programs, and research initiatives
✅ Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience (preferably in the NGO or nonprofit sector)
- Excellent English and Nepali writing and speaking skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google Drive/Docs/Sheets
- Passion for social work, child protection, and nonprofit service
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and in a flexible environment
- A valid 2-wheeler driving license (preferred for project site visits)
- Prior experience working with diverse and rural communities is a big plus
