๐ Role Overview: Programme Analyst
As a Programme Analyst, you will support the Gender Responsive Inclusive Governance (GRIG) thematic area under the supervision of the Programme Specialist. This role involves programme management, coordination, partner support, research, reporting, and volunteer engagement.
๐ง Key Responsibilities
๐ Programme Management and Coordination
- Manage implementation and monitoring of projects with at least three programme partners.
- Support project functions through UN Womenโs online systems.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and partner agencies for effective delivery.
- Assist in work plan preparation, budget drafting, and contribution agreement finalization.
- Support donor and bi-annual reporting and review of partner reports.
๐ Research, Analysis, and Knowledge Support
- Draft and review concept notes and proposals.
- Review global and national policy documents related to governance and womenโs rights.
- Provide programming support on request.
๐ค Volunteerism & Engagement
- Promote the values of volunteerism and solidarity.
- Contribute to UNV publications and engage in knowledge-sharing activities.
- Mentor new UN Volunteers through the Buddy Programme.
โ Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Must be a national or legal resident of Nepal.
- Education: Bachelorโs degree in social work, law, gender studies, economics, political science, or related field. Masterโs degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional experience in programme management, gender equality, social inclusion, or coordination.
- Language: Fluency in both English and Nepali is required.
