๐ ๏ธ Key Responsibilities
- Conduct audits of information security & cybersecurity architecture and implementation.
- Perform IT system audits of core banking systems, applications, and cybersecurity practices.
- Carry out network device configuration audits (databases & networks).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments of networks, data centers, ATMs, and delivery channels.
- Review Core Banking Software applications and IT controls.
- Audit Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP).
- Assess backup and recovery testing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, SLAs, and regulatory requirements.
- Review privileges of vendors and outsourced service providers.
- Assist in planning, execution, and reporting of IS audits as per the annual audit plan.
- Document findings and provide actionable recommendations.
- Participate in special reviews, fraud investigations, and new system implementation reviews.
- Collaborate with other internal audit teams for comprehensive risk coverage.
๐ Required Knowledge & Competencies
- CISA Certification is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, databases, and core banking systems.
- Familiarity with Nepalโs banking regulatory standards & cybersecurity frameworks.
- Hands-on experience in auditing IT systems, digital platforms, and information security controls.
- Strong analytical, report writing, and communication skills.
- High integrity, professional skepticism, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a deadline-driven environment.
๐ Prerequisites
- Education: Bachelorโs (minimum 2.5 CGPA or 2nd Division) in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, Computer Applications, or related fields. Masterโs preferred.
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 40 years as of 5th October 2025.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant supervisory experience in a Bank, Financial Institution, FinTech, or related field.
