๐ Key Responsibilities
As an IT Operations Assistant, you will:
- Provide technical support for IT & telecommunications systems (LAN/WAN, servers, VSAT, firewalls, backup systems).
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot networks, cloud systems (Office 365, Azure, Cisco, SharePoint).
- Manage IT assets, inventories, licenses, and procurement in compliance with UN rules.
- Support cybersecurity, data protection, and emergency preparedness activities.
- Deliver Level 1 & 2 IT support, assist in training, workshops, and UN events.
- Collaborate with admin, finance, and procurement teams for smooth IT service delivery.
๐ Qualification & Experience Required
- Education: Completion of secondary school + certification in IT/Computer Science. University degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in IT operations, network/system administration, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, ITIL practices, cybersecurity, and digital tools.
- Hands-on experience with VSAT, PABX, CCTV, SDN, firewalls, and Office 365.
- Excellent communication in English & Nepali.
