🔍 Role Overview
The Finance Data Analyst will analyze complex financial datasets, build business intelligence dashboards, perform forecasting, and correlate vendor spend with business outcomes to support strategic decision-making.
You must have a strong analytical mindset and advanced technical skills in Excel, Power BI, SQL, FP&A, and financial modeling.
🧠 Key Responsibilities
1. Data Analytics & Business Intelligence
- Conduct advanced financial modeling and analysis to support business strategy.
- Translate financial data into actionable insights that enhance revenue and minimize costs.
- Develop Power BI/Tableau dashboards and clear executive financial reports.
- Utilize predictive analytics and forecasting to identify trends and business risks.
- Support budgeting, variance analysis, and financial performance tracking.
2. Vendor Spend Analysis & Business Correlation
- Perform detailed vendor spend analysis using large datasets.
- Correlate vendor expenses with business results (marketing, product development, operations).
- Coordinate with Logistics, Programming, and Procurement teams to track vendor performance.
- Conduct benchmarking and vendor performance reviews for cost optimization.
3. Innovation, Process Improvement & Automation
- Identify process gaps and implement improvement initiatives.
- Document workflows to strengthen compliance and internal controls.
- Lead automation projects using Excel macros, VBA, Power BI, AI tools, and ERP/FP&A systems.
- Research and apply emerging AI-driven financial analytics technologies.
🎓 Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field.
- Preferred certifications: Finance Modeling, Microsoft Certified Data Analyst, Business Intelligence tools.
Experience
- Fresh graduates with internships or 2–3 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or BI roles.
- Strong background in data analytics, financial reporting, forecasting, and modeling.
- Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
