About the Project
TPO Nepal is implementing the Mental Health Support Programme (MSP) Nepal in Madhesh Province with support from UNFPA. The project aims to improve mental health and psychosocial well-being among vulnerable and conflict-affected communities through quality Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) services within Nepal’s public health system.
Required Qualification and Experience
- Master’s degree in Psychology is mandatory.
- Candidates with Master’s degrees in Public Health, Epidemiology, Global Health, Global Mental Health, Social Work, or related fields with mental health experience are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in MHPSS programme implementation in community settings as a Project Coordinator or Team Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement project activities effectively according to approved plans and donor requirements.
- Maintain regular coordination with project teams, government stakeholders, training participants, implementing partners, and relevant agencies.
- Collaborate closely with UNFPA field teams and other stakeholders for project activities and training programs.
- Manage planning, logistics, and quality delivery of workshops, meetings, and training sessions.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of activities.
- Prepare quarterly reports, progress reports, event reports, and final project reports.
- Support project documentation, reporting, and data management activities.
Preferred Skills
- Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Nepal’s health systems and psychosocial services.
- Experience working with NGOs, INGOs, government agencies, and Community Psychosocial Workers (CPSWs).
- Prior experience in mental health and psychosocial support programmes.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Nepali.
- Strong computer proficiency and project management skills.
