Key Responsibilities
The Policy, Advocacy and Governance Coordinator will work under the Program Development Quality and Influence (PDQI) department and will be responsible for:
- Leading policy advocacy and governance-related activities
- Coordinating campaigns and child rights initiatives at provincial and local levels
- Supporting evidence-based advocacy strategies
- Ensuring meaningful child participation in policy discussions
- Coordinating with thematic advisors, project managers, government stakeholders, and partner organizations
- Promoting child rights policies aligned with national and international standards
- Strengthening partnerships with CSOs, local governments, and development partners
- Supporting emergency response activities when required

Required Qualifications and Experience
Educational Qualification
- Masterโs Degree in:
- Human Rights
- Law
- Political Science
- Development Studies
- Sociology
- or related disciplines
OR
- Bachelorโs Degree with additional relevant experience
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Masterโs degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Bachelorโs degree
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of child rights and governance systems in Nepal
- Experience in advocacy, policy engagement, and campaigning
- Excellent negotiation and coordination skills
