We are currently inviting applications from qualified and motivated individuals for the following position under the Teacher Training Quality Education Program (TTQEP) based in Taplejung district.
🧑🏫 Position: Education Development Officer (EDO)
- Number of Position: 1 (One)
- Duty Station: Taplejung, Nepal
- Deadline to Apply: 20th August 2025, before 5:00 PM
🎓 Educational Qualification:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Nepali or Social Science.
- Master’s degree in Nepali Education, Humanities, or Social Sciences is preferred.
🧠 Work Experience:
- At least 3 years of teaching experience,
OR - Minimum 1 year of experience in Teacher Training Programs.
- Preference will be given to candidates with I/NGO experience in Teacher Capacity Development.
💼 Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the logistical, documentation, and coordination needs for training implementation.
- Compile data and generate training reports.
- Facilitate training programs for teachers, SMCs, PTAs, and communities.
- Submit progress reports to the District Manager.
- Prepare event-wise training reports and assist in proposal development.
- Represent REED Nepal in educational conferences and present research-based papers.
🛠️ Required Skills and Competencies:
- Strong facilitation and leadership skills.
- Experience working with community-led development and adult learning principles.
- Sound knowledge of child psychology and inclusive education.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel to remote and mountainous areas.
- Proficiency in communication, coordination, team building, and report writing.
