Youth Alliance for Development (YARD), a reputed non-governmental and non-profit organization established in 2067 B.S., is dedicated to youth empowerment, community development, and social transformation. Founded by a team of visionary youth, YARD works to amplify youth voices, promote leadership, and drive sustainable development initiatives across Nepal.
Currently, YARD is implementing the HATEMALO for Child Wellbeing and Integrated Development Project in Kailali District, in partnership with World Vision International Nepal (WVIN). The project aims to empower children to thrive in peaceful, inclusive communities supported by transparent governance and equitable access to education, nutrition, and opportunities.
To achieve this mission, YARD is seeking qualified, dynamic, and result-oriented professionals for the following positions:
🧾 1. Position: Finance and Admin Officer (One)
Duty Station: Kailali District
Type: Full-time
Job Summary:
The Finance and Admin Officer will be responsible for managing financial operations, administrative functions, and supply chain processes of the project. The position ensures all transactions comply with organizational, donor, and government financial regulations—including payments, reporting, budgeting, and disbursements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting activities.
- Ensure compliance with financial and administrative policies.
- Manage procurement, logistics, and supply chain processes.
- Support internal audits and financial documentation.
- Coordinate with project and organizational teams to achieve financial efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in finance, administration, or supply chain management.
- Familiarity with IPAS, FAMAS software preferred.
- Experience with INGO or NGO financial systems, especially WVIN projects, is an asset.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
👥 2. Position: Community Mobilizer (One)
Duty Station: Kailali District
Type: Field-based
Job Summary:
The Community Mobilizer will play a vital role in implementing community-level activities under the HATEMALO Project. This role focuses on engaging communities, facilitating participation, and ensuring that project interventions contribute to child well-being and inclusive community development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mobilize local stakeholders and community groups.
- Conduct community awareness and engagement sessions.
- Support implementation and monitoring of field activities.
- Ensure inclusive and participatory approaches in all project activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Education, or Community Development (Intermediate with strong experience may apply).
- Experience working with children, youth, or community-based projects.
- Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills.
