Job Summary
The Project Coordinator will manage the Prayatna Project, ensuring its successful implementation, compliance with organizational policies, and strong engagement with stakeholders. The role involves project management, monitoring & evaluation (M&E), capacity building, advocacy, and maintaining relationships with local government, Nepal Police, CSOs, and community stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
๐น Project Management
- Develop and execute project work plans aligned with project goals.
- Oversee financial management and ensure efficient fund utilization.
- Report on progress, document successes, challenges, and lessons learned.
- Represent Shanti Foundation in meetings, forums, and conferences.
๐น Technical & Case Management
- Manage knowledge resources for vulnerable groups in hospitality and entertainment sectors.
- Coordinate and monitor case management activities with local government.
- Prepare timely and accurate project reports.
๐น Capacity Building & Training
- Facilitate training sessions for local stakeholders.
- Develop and adapt project-related knowledge and training materials.
๐น Safeguarding & Security
- Ensure activities follow child protection, safeguarding, and anti-fraud policies.
- Implement safety standards for children and vulnerable groups.
๐น Other Duties
- Support fundraising and proposal writing.
- Assist with organizational policy updates.
- Promote Shanti Foundationโs visibility and advocacy efforts.
โ Requirements
- Education: Bachelorโs degree in Law, Social Science, Social Work, Development Studies, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in advocacy, policy, migration, GESI, and child protection.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in MS Office, data collection & management tools.
- Familiarity with M&E frameworks and methodologies.
- Excellent communication in Nepali & English.
- Other: Willingness to travel, problem-solving mindset, results-oriented.
