The Futures Program is a flagship initiative of KVSS designed to prepare Kopila Valley students and alumni for independent and self-reliant lives. The program offers career counseling, scholarship support for higher education, vocational training, and essential life skills workshops.
📌 Position Summary: Program Assistant – Futures Program
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Program Assistant to support the planning, implementation, and documentation of the Futures Program. This role is perfect for someone passionate about education, youth development, and creating positive change in the community.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
✅ Lead Program Documentation
- Maintain updated records of students and alumni in digital platforms like Apricot.
- Assist in preparing program reports and tracking scholarship payments.
- Ensure accurate and timely communication with students and alumni.
✅ Support Program Coordination
- Assist the Program Coordinator in planning, budgeting, and execution of activities.
- Coordinate higher education scholarship processes.
- Participate in inter/intra-program collaborations and events.
✅ Alumni Engagement & Program Management
- Support alumni in their academic and vocational journeys.
- Build strong relationships with students, alumni, staff, and stakeholders.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to organizational growth.
📚 Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Minimum 10+2 (PCL) in a relevant field
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Language: Fluency in English and Nepali preferred
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage data efficiently
- Passion for child and youth development
- Comfortable working independently and in a team
