Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Ltd is hiring a Service Manager SME in Biratnagar to strengthen and enhance the experience of Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) clients.
This role focuses on client relationship management, service delivery excellence, and strategic growth in the SME banking portfolio.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive customer satisfaction, and ensure operational efficiency to support business clients in achieving their goals.
💼 Key Responsibilities
1. Business Growth & Client Acquisition
- Develop new SME banking clients and maintain existing ones to grow the SME portfolio.
- Increase deposits and loan bookings to achieve annual business targets.
- Engage clients through account activation, remote marketing, and referrals from all channels.
- Retain profitable customers with exceptional service and relationship management.
- Implement strategies to identify new cross-selling opportunities and boost overall profitability.
2. Relationship Management
- Manage and retain clients through analytics-driven engagement and renewals.
- Conduct CDD/AML/FATCA compliance checks on accounts regularly.
- Strengthen customer loyalty by ensuring consistent and high-quality service delivery.
3. Risk & Credit Management
- Evaluate and manage credit risks in line with SCBNL and NRB guidelines.
- Coordinate with Credit, Recovery, and Operations units to ensure timely disbursals and risk control.
- Monitor portfolio quality, identify early warning signals, and take corrective action.
4. Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, anti-money laundering policies, and internal audit standards.
- Support management in aligning operations with the latest NRB and Group policies.
🎯 Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
- Strong administrative, marketing, and leadership abilities.
- Excellent communication, organization, and customer engagement skills.
- Proven experience in team management, client servicing, and SME banking preferred.
- Adaptable, self-motivated, and result-oriented with effective time management.
