Key Responsibilities

Cash and Cheque Handling:

  • Accept cash deposits and cheque deposits.
  • Encash in-house cheques and issue local/foreign currency drafts.
  • Handle outward remittances (telex/swift transfers) and process inward collection/clearing cheques.
  • Manage FCY cash purchase & sale transactions and back office vouchers.

Customer Service & Banking Operations:

  • Deliver efficient customer service in teller and remittance counters.
  • Collect applications for online banking, cheque books, ATM/Credit Cards, and statements.
  • Assist in managing customer traffic and resolving inquiries.
  • Ensure timely follow-up for unpaid drafts, TTO, and NRB cheques.

Risk Management & Compliance:

  • Maintain dual control of cash, vault, ATM, and credit card operations.
  • Monitor suspense and subsidiary accounts, reconcile, and escalate discrepancies.
  • Ensure strict adherence to money laundering prevention policies and other regulatory guidelines.
  • Achieve good audit ratings and compliance standards.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Perform relief duties in cash and remittance areas as required.
  • Punch vouchers, prepare standing orders, and ensure proper filing.
  • Support Health & Safety initiatives and report hazards proactively.
