The Association of Community Radio Broadcasters (ACORAB) Nepal is a leading umbrella organization representing over 350 community radio broadcasters across Nepal. We are dedicated to promoting freedom of expression, right to information, community development, and social transformation through the power of media.
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Programme Officer to join our team. This is a golden opportunity for professionals seeking NGO jobs in Nepal with strong project management, strategic planning, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in programme management to ensure activities are completed within time, budget, and quality standards.
- Support the development and implementation of annual work plans and project strategies.
- Contribute to project design, fundraising proposals, and donor reporting.
- Strategize innovative solutions to strengthen community radio sector reforms.
- Assess and improve the capacity of community radio broadcasters.
- Identify operational challenges and propose adaptive solutions.
- Manage partnerships to maximize programme efficiency.
- Develop and implement Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) frameworks.
- Create impactful communication strategies and outreach materials.
- Ensure accurate and timely technical and financial reporting.
- Mentor and supervise interns and programme associates.
Key Requirements
- Master’s degree in Management, Development Studies, Communication, or related fields.
- Proven leadership, strategic planning, and project management abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and partnership-building skills.
- Familiarity with community media development and digital tools is an advantage.
