Forum for Nation Building Nepal (FNB Nepal) – a leading non-profit organization in Nepal established in 2013 by a group of motivated youths, is working on access to justice, human rights, migration, disaster preparedness, mediation, and other emerging socio-political issues. FNB Nepal operates through district-level branches and a central office in Kathmandu.
We are currently looking for qualified and passionate individuals for the following NGO job vacancies in Kathmandu:
🧾 1. Position: Program Assistant (Full-Time)
📍 Location: FNB Nepal Office, Kathmandu
📅 Project Duration: 9 Months
🔢 Number of Positions: 1
✅ Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Coordinator in planning, implementation, reporting, and coordination tasks.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and final reports of the project.
- Support proposal writing, documentation, communication, and project activities.
- Develop IEC materials, reports, and maintain project documentation.
- Represent the organization at local and national forums when needed.
✅ Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 10+2 in Social Science, Law, or related fields.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in NGO/INGO project implementation, especially related to human rights, migration, or community development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Nepali.
- Good command of Microsoft Office, report writing, and basic data analysis.
🧾 2. Position: Finance & Administration Officer (Part-Time)
📍 Location: FNB Nepal Office, Kathmandu
📅 Project Duration: 9 Months
🔢 Number of Positions: 1
✅ Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all financial records and maintain accurate books of accounts for auditing.
- Handle budgeting, procurement, and administrative tasks efficiently.
- Coordinate closely with project staff for budget planning and expenditure tracking.
- Prepare financial statements, audit reports, and quarterly expenditure summaries.
- Identify and report financial management gaps and help improve systems.
✅ Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in NGO financial management and administration.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, and compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally or other accounting software.
- Excellent analytical thinking and decision-making abilities.
