🌱 Role Overview
VSO Nepal is seeking a National Volunteer – Resilient Livelihood and CSO Accountability Coordinator to support the ACTIVE Program (Active Citizens Through Inclusive Volunteering and Empowerment).
This role focuses on:
- Promoting resilient livelihoods and agroecological practices.
- Supporting farmer groups and mother groups in Surkhet District.
- Coordinating with local stakeholders for effective program delivery.
- Strengthening the capacity of partner organizations in planning and implementation.
The coordinator will play a vital role in fostering inclusive, gender-equitable, and climate-resilient communities across Surkhet.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate livelihood and agroecology interventions in target areas.
- Support local CSOs and community groups in project implementation.
- Strengthen accountability and good governance among partner organizations.
- Assist in data collection, reporting, and community mobilization.
- Coordinate with local governments and stakeholders for integrated project delivery.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong interest in community development and sustainable agriculture.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Experience working with rural farmers, women’s groups, or NGOs.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and teamwork spirit.
