🎓 Required Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- Education:
- Minimum PCL Nursing or Health Assistant (HA) with at least 1 year of experience in a healthcare environment.
- Alternatively, ANM or CMA with a minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- License: Valid and unrestricted registration with the Nepal Health Professional Council (NHPC).
- Skills:
- Basic spoken and good written English communication skills.
- Native-level Nepali language proficiency.
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Nepal’s medical practice laws and regulations.
💼 Key Responsibilities
The Medical Centre Assistant (MCA) will support daily administrative and clinical operations at the Gurkha Welfare Trust Medical Centre, ensuring smooth service delivery.
Main duties include:
- Assisting in patient registration and medical record management.
- Supporting clinical assessments, medication preparation, and patient follow-ups.
- Coordinating with healthcare staff to ensure effective service delivery.
- Maintaining inventory, reports, and medical documentation.
- Performing any additional duties assigned by the Medical Officer.

💰 Salary and Benefits
- Basic Salary: NPR 57,637/month (EG2L1 grade).
- Other Benefits: As per GWT(N) Standing Instructions, including insurance, leave, and allowances.
