Adara Development is a global nonprofit committed to improving Maternal Newborn Child Health (MNCH) and education in remote areas. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Head of Education Programme to lead and transform education delivery in our remote project locations in Nepal.

📌 Job Details:
- Position: Head of Education Programme
- Location: 50% Humla, 40% Ghyangfedi, 10% Kathmandu
- Employment Type: Full-time, ongoing contract
- Reports To: Education Programme Managers (Humla & Ghyangfedi)
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Adara’s remote education initiatives and strengthen holistic programme delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement of the Remote Education Model and champion a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Align strategies with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Nepal’s national education policies.
- Oversee the integration of child protection systems and innovative learning approaches.
- Develop forward-thinking educational strategies and ensure measurable impact.
👤 About You (Requirements):
- Must be a Nepali citizen residing in Nepal
- Master’s degree in Education or a relevant field
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in education-related programmes
- Strong understanding of Nepal’s education delivery system
- Proven record of improving learning outcomes for marginalized and disadvantaged children
- Excellent leadership, people management, and strategic planning skills
- Willingness to travel and stay in remote areas (especially Humla) for extended periods
- Strong skills in MS Office, project management, and effective communication (English & Nepali)
- Demonstrated commitment to child safeguarding and ethical development practices
