📝 Job Summary:

Caritas Nepal, a leading non-profit organization working in disaster response, sustainable development, and humanitarian support, is hiring a Field Project Officer (FPO) for Lalitpur district. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and implementing integrated field-level development projects involving WASH, Shelter, Livelihoods, DRR (Disaster Risk Reduction) and community mobilization activities. 🎯 Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead overall field-level project planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Ensure timely and quality implementation of all activities.
  • Build coordination with local governments, partners, and community stakeholders.
  • Supervise project teams and ensure effective field-level operations.
  • Oversee planning, budget tracking, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with Caritas Nepal’s safeguarding and humanitarian standards.

📚 Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Rural Development, or related field.
  • Minimum 4–5 years of proven experience in project coordination or NGO project management.
  • Sound experience in WASH, livelihood programs, shelter, and disaster risk management.
  • Competence in leading field teams and managing multi-sectoral programs.
  • Familiarity with local governance, community resilience programming, and local-level partnerships.

🔍 Desired Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, report writing, and data tracking.
  • Fluency in English and Nepali (local language knowledge preferred).
  • Willingness to work in rural settings with basic living conditions.
