Bagmati Welfare Society Nepal (BWSN) is a non-profit, non-political, and non-governmental organization registered in Sarlahi district. Since its establishment in 1995, BWSN has been committed to empowering marginalized and vulnerable communities across the Terai region. BWSN operates in various thematic areas such as Disaster Risk Management, Climate Change, Human Rights, Child Rights, Peace and Democracy, Livelihood and Enterprise Development, Education, Health, Nutrition, and WASH.

Currently, in partnership with UNDP / Global Fund / National Tuberculosis Control Centre (NTCC), BWSN is implementing the Strengthening Health Resilience in Nepal program for Tuberculosis (TB) control in 13 districts across Koshi, Madhesh, and Lumbini provinces.


🧑‍💼 Position: District Project Coordinator

Location: Morang District, Koshi Province


Job Summary:

The District Project Coordinator will lead the effective implementation of the TB control project in Morang District in close coordination with district health offices, municipalities, and health facilities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating all project activities at the district level.
  • Providing technical support to project staff for effective TB intervention delivery.
  • Supporting the National Tuberculosis Program (NTP) in TB case detection, enrollment, and treatment outcome improvement.
  • Ensuring proper reporting in DHIS II and eTB systems.
  • Ensuring program compliance as per the guidelines of BWSN, UNDP, Global Fund, and NTCC.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in health-related programs (TB program experience preferred).
  • Other Requirements:
    • Strong coordination and communication skills.
    • Commitment to work with BWSN for at least 1 year.
    • Preference will be given to local candidates from Morang or surrounding areas.
