🎯 Key Responsibilities

The Finance and Administration Assistant will support financial management, administration, logistics, and government coordination at ADB Nepal.

Major Duties Include:

  • Assisting in financial management and budget preparation as per ADB guidelines
  • Preparing and verifying purchase orders, vouchers, receipts, and supporting documents
  • Supporting procurement processes through ADB e-Proc System
  • Coordinating with government offices for tax exemptions, renewals, and reimbursements
  • Managing office administration, logistics, and personnel follow-ups
  • Handling travel arrangements, visa coordination, and mission logistics
  • Supporting asset, fleet, and facilities management
  • Assisting in implementation of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
  • Supervising general services staff and contractors
  • Performing other duties as assigned

🎓 Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in:
    • Financial accounting
    • Office administration & logistics
    • International organizations (preferred)

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of finance, procurement, and administrative procedures
  • Experience working with INGOs / development banks
  • Excellent computer and database skills
  • Ability to generate financial and administrative reports
  • Good numerical skills
  • Strong written and spoken English
