🎯 Role Overview
As an Associate Financial Sector Officer, you’ll support loan, grant, and technical assistance (TA) operations across Nepal’s finance sector. You’ll co-lead project processing, handle portfolio administration, conduct sector dialogues, and integrate digital finance strategies to improve financial inclusion.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Administer finance sector projects, technical assistance, and portfolio activities.
- Prepare project performance reports and monitor financial disbursement and awards.
- Identify and solve implementation issues with government and private partners.
- Review procurement documents, technical designs, and project scopes.
- Drive digital financial integration and support sustainable finance initiatives.
- Maintain liaison with government, private sector, and civil society organizations.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to capacity-building efforts.
📚 Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related fields (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, banking, or project management.
- Strong knowledge of Nepal’s financial sector policies and institutions.
- Familiarity with ADB or other donor-funded project processes.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Nepali.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
