Key Responsibilities
Cash and Cheque Handling:
- Accept cash deposits and cheque deposits.
- Encash in-house cheques and issue local/foreign currency drafts.
- Handle outward remittances (telex/swift transfers) and process inward collection/clearing cheques.
- Manage FCY cash purchase & sale transactions and back office vouchers.
Customer Service & Banking Operations:
- Deliver efficient customer service in teller and remittance counters.
- Collect applications for online banking, cheque books, ATM/Credit Cards, and statements.
- Assist in managing customer traffic and resolving inquiries.
- Ensure timely follow-up for unpaid drafts, TTO, and NRB cheques.
Risk Management & Compliance:
- Maintain dual control of cash, vault, ATM, and credit card operations.
- Monitor suspense and subsidiary accounts, reconcile, and escalate discrepancies.
- Ensure strict adherence to money laundering prevention policies and other regulatory guidelines.
- Achieve good audit ratings and compliance standards.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform relief duties in cash and remittance areas as required.
- Punch vouchers, prepare standing orders, and ensure proper filing.
- Support Health & Safety initiatives and report hazards proactively.
