SEBAC-Nepal is a leading national-level NGO working since 1997 in multiple thematic areas including Livelihood, Agriculture, Economic Recovery, Rural Infrastructure, Nutrition, Health, Education, Governance, Gender Advocacy, WASH, Disaster Risk Reduction, Climate Change, and Natural Resource Management.

We are looking for a highly qualified, motivated, and experienced professional for the position of Senior Admin & Finance Officer (Part-time).


Key Responsibilities

A. Financial Management

  • Lead the finance department ensuring compliance with national laws and organizational policies.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and software-based financial systems.
  • Prepare monthly and donor reports, payroll, reconciliations, and manage fund flow.
  • Ensure proper documentation and audit support.

B. Administrative Management

  • Oversee office operations, contracts, attendance, logistics, and utilities.
  • Implement internal administrative systems and controls.

C. Assets & Inventory Management

  • Maintain records of office assets with proper use, repair, and verification.
  • Prepare inventory reports and ensure compliance.

D. Procurement & Coordination

  • Participate in procurement processes and maintain vendor rosters.
  • Coordinate staff recruitment, maintain HR files, and track training/workshops.
  • Support internal communication and maintain organizational calendars.

E. Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure all financial transactions meet national and organizational standards.
  • Support financial monitoring and internal audits.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or relevant discipline with 7+ years’ experience in admin/finance within the development sector.
    OR
  • Master’s degree with at least 5 years’ professional experience in similar roles.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong coordination and communication skills with project teams, donors, and stakeholders.
  • Fluency in both English and Nepali.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork mindset.
