📌 Position: Safe Home In-charge (Only Female – Residential Role)

We are hiring a passionate and responsible Safe Home In-charge to join our team under the Project AASTHA (Acting Against Sexual Exploitation, Trafficking of Humans, and Atrocity in Nepal).


✅ Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the safe home ensuring safety and care of women and children.
  • Provide psychosocial support and oversee the well-being and development of the beneficiaries.
  • Coordinate capacity-building and creative engagement activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and proper documentation of beneficiary records and personnel files.
  • Foster positive relationships among beneficiaries, families, stakeholders, and community members.
  • Coordinate with government authorities and other key stakeholders.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of youths and children in the safe home.
  • Ensure all logistics and resources are in place for smooth functioning of the home.

🎓 Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 1 year of experience in social work, OR
    +2 Level with at least 2 years’ experience in counselling or social work.
  • Prior experience with vulnerable children and youth affected by sexual exploitation or trafficking is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of child and youth participation methodologies.
  • Experience in managing or working in a safe home is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet use.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Nepali and English (spoken and written).
  • Capable of writing project reports and documentation effectively.

📄 Terms of Employment:

  • Contract Duration: Initially 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance.
  • Work Type: Full-time, Residential (Only Female Candidates)
